Since the opening of the first Bunnings Warehouse in 1994, Bunnings has grown its turnover from $380 million to over $5.8 billion today. Further expansion is planned for well beyond 2010 in Australia’s $36 billion home improvement and outdoor living market.

Bunnings’ store network continues to reach new areas across Australia and New Zealand. One of the key pillars of the Bunnings offer is providing the widest range to customers and in line with this, innovation in the product offering is a constant theme.

This growth is supported by a genuine commitment to operate in a sustainable manner. In recent years, Bunnings has grown without expanding its carbon footprint. This is the result of targeted strategies to reduce energy use and waste. Water use has also declined significantly.
