ALAN CAMERON AM FAICD

Alan Cameron was recently appointed as a Director and Chairman of ASX Market Supervision Pty Limited, the supervisory arm of the Australian Securities Exchange.

He is chair of Cameron Ralph Pty Limited, a board performance assessment business, the Reliance Rail Public Private Partnership, and several companies including Westpac Funds Management Limited and Westpac's general and life insurance companies.

He is a lawyer by background, and was chairman of the Australian Securities Commission (ASC) and its successor, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), from 1993 to November 2000.
