Precis

Aubrey Joachim is Principal Consultant of Leading Edge Change which involves offering training, coaching, mentoring and consulting services in strategic management accounting.

Aubrey is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), London and an MBA. He counts over 30 years of financial and management accounting experience and has implemented a number of leading edge management accounting techniques such as activity based costing / management, beyond budgeting and rolling forecast processes as well as performance management systems within the framework of organizations strategic and business planning processes. He is also involved in areas identifying opportunities for cost reduction within organizations and facilitating finance teams towards achieving best practice.

Aubrey is actively involved in the accounting profession at the highest level and currently represents Australasia on the Governing Council of CIMA London and is a non-executive director on the CIMA board. This role not only provides significant insight into international accounting issues but also provides an opportunity to influence the future direction of the finance professional.

He is also a graduate of the Company Directors Course with AICD.
