HON MIKE MOORE
Hon Mike Moore
The Rt. Hon. Mike Moore has a long and distinguished career in politics – he entered the New Zealand Parliament in 1972, as its youngest member, aged 23. Holding numerous ministerial portfolios, he ultimately rose through the ranks to be Prime Minister of New Zealand.
In 1999, he was awarded New Zealand’s highest honour, the Order of New Zealand. From 1999 to 2002, he was Director General of the World Trade Organisation. His term as Director General coincided with momentous changes in the global economy and multilateral trading system. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at University of Adelaide and has written numerous books such as “A Pacific Parliament, A World Without Walls and The Added Value Economy.”
