Margaret is a Finance, Risk and Treasury professional with broad experience and specialist skills; she enjoys solving strategic problems and is unusually dynamic and results driven, with a vision to make a difference.

She has over 12 years of corporate treasury, finance and risk management experience gained from Shell, Ansett, Ernst & Young, BlueScope Steel, National Australia Bank and OZ Minerals (Oxiana). She is in the business of providing Corporate Treasury Management solutions including fulfilling the role of Group Treasurer.

Margaret is the Managing Director of her company, AYO; she is Trustee of the family superannuation fund and also manages the family’s financial affairs through a private Trust.

Margaret has already accumulated over 10 years experience as a Non Executive Director and has also had the added responsibility of chairing Risk, Finance and Audit Committees. Organisations that have benefited from her involvement in these capacities are The Scallop Credit Union, The Royal Victorian Institute for the Blind, Vision Australia, St Hilda’s College and the Finance and Treasury Association. She is currently serving her second term on the Finance and Investment Committee of the Cancer Council of Victoria.

Margaret’s broad technical knowledge and experience are backed by strong qualifications and ongoing professional development. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Finance and Treasury Association. She is also a regular speaker for the Finance and Treasury Association.

Margaret is married and enjoys dancing with a passion.
