Peter Strachan commenced working life as a research metallurgist in Zambia and gained a high level of practical experience with companies such as Bougainville Copper and CRA Ltd (now Rio Tinto). Over the past 25 years, Peter has worked with a range of UK and Australian-based financial firms in the securities industry, in roles as diverse as share market and corporate research, institutional dealing, investment banking, business development and management. Six years ago, he established an AFS licensed, investor relations and independent corporate analysis business which he operates under the Strachan Corporate banner. Peter is co-owner of StockAnalysis, a subscriber based, analyst brief which he publishes on a weekly basis.
