MICHAEL VINE

Director, Financial , Institutions Ratings, Standard & Poor’s

Michael Vine is a director within the Corporate & Government Services group. Michael is team leader for Insurance Ratings in Australia and New Zealand, and has analytical responsibility for a range of insurance companies and financial institutions throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Before joining Standard & Poor’s in 1994, Michael worked in corporate banking and corporate treasury.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Melbourne, and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute. He is a Fellow of Finsia.
