The Commonwealth Treasury

Treasury played a major role in the reform of the NFP sector and produced a range of Consultation Papers and Exposure Drafts including:

• Definition of a Charity
• Review of Not-for-Profit Governance Arrangements
• Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission Bill 
• ACNC – Implementation Design

Treasury also produce an excellent series of newsletters which help keep the NFP sector up-to-date on various reforms.

Consultation with Company Directors

Company Directors provided submissions on these consultation documents, and will continue to liaise with Treasury on upcoming consultations including the review of Companies Limited by Guarantee.
