BCTR SUBMISSION SENATE SELECT COMMITTEE ON STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

AICD participates in the debate about Australian tax reform through its involvement in the Business Coalition for Tax Reform (BCTR).

A Senate Select Committee on State Government Financial Management has been established to inquire into and report on Commonwealth and state and territory fiscal relations and state and territory government financial management. BCTR considers reform of inefficient state-based taxes to be a key element in developing an effective and competitive taxation system for Australia.
