Discussion paper meaning of understanding in the Trade Practices Act 1974

This submission provides some comments to Treasury on its discussion paper. AICD does not support the change to the Trade Practices ACT (TPA) sought by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). AICD believes that liability should not be established on the basis of inference without direct and non conflicting evidence and that the definition of understanding must include "commitment"  Discussion paper-meaning of 'understanding' in the Trade Practices Act
