AICD submission to Safe Work Australia on Safe Work Act 2009 Model Safe Work Provisions

AICD has made a submission to Safe Work Australia in relation to the Safe Work Act 2009 (Model Safe Work Provisions). AICD supports stringent OH&S laws with appropriate penalties and welcomes a number of aspects of the new provisions. In this submission AICD comments on 3 matters of concern - the impediments to the implementation to a uniform framework, the need for uniform administration of the model act legislative system and for a ‘due diligence’ definition
