Submission to CAMAC on executive remuneration
- Date:13 Aug 2010
- Type:Policy & Advocacy: Submission
On 13 August 2010, the Australian Institute of Company Directors wrote to the Corporations and Markets Advisory Committee (CAMAC) setting out our views on the requirements that apply to remuneration reports and on simplification of the incentive components of executive remuneration arrangements. In particular, we referred to our position paper on remuneration reporting requirements released in June 2010, and expressed strong opposition to revising the current legislative architecture with a view to forcing (directly or indirectly) simplification of incentive components of executive remuneration.
