Submission to ASIC in relation to Consultation Paper 150

This submission is in response to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission's
Consultation Paper, 'Disclosing financial information other than in accordance with accounting standards', released on 24 March 2011.

 

The submission expresses our concerns about developing these guidelines as they may restrict the ability of companies to prepare and disclose additional financial information. We reiterated the relevance of principles in the Australian Institute of Company Directors and FINSIA guide 'Underlying profit, principles for reporting non-statutory financial information' (2009) in preparing additional financial information.
