The Listed Company Director

Obligations, compliance and disclosure – are you aware?

The Listed Company Director is a one-day course for directors of companies listed on the ASX. The course has been co-developed by Australian Institute of Company Directors and ASX and is designed to help directors of listed companies deal with changes such as those created by the financial crises of 2008 and the deteriorating economic landscape.

The course is structured around facilitated question and answer sessions and information sharing; and focuses on practical examples. The final session of the day is a panel discussion along the lines of a hypothetical with a lawyer, director and ASX representative who are all experienced in operating within the ASX Listing Rules.

Topics covered include the ASX Listing Rule 3.1 – continuous disclosure and other key listing rules from the Corporations Act; and builds capacity of directors to ensure that all obligations to stakeholders of listed companies are met.

The content of The Listed Company Director course is very specific with regards to the responsibility and obligations of listed company directors and ASX Listing Rules.

Directors of listed companies are eligible to attend the course. This course is paid from funds provided by ASX.

Registration is free to eligible participants.
