DIRECTORS-IN-RESIDENCE PROGRAM (CDC RESIDENTIALS)

The Residential CDC now includes a director-in-residence program.  Over a two day period, participants have the opportunity to discuss board matters with an experienced director in an informal setting, and, as part of the formal program, get to see them in action as they help tackle the cases presented in the course.

The 2008 CDC is now one of the most advanced programs of its kind in the world.  Most general director courses continue to use a traditional lecture style and have a compliance focus.  AICD is still the only organisation to offer an International Company Directors Course and Canada is the only other country with a fully integrated program and a director-in-residence scheme.
