INTRODUCTION TO THE STRATEGIC ROLE OF THE DIRECTOR
What is Strategy? This half day Directors Essentials course will help provide a more effective interface between the board and management with respect to setting the strategic direction of an organisation.
Strategy is at times not well understood and often addressed just once a year. Decisions are commonly made without a clear understanding of the strategic implications to an organisation. What are the risks? Is this decision aligned with our mission and values? Value creation may not always be about the bottom line.
Introduction to the Strategic Role of the Director is designed to establish a core understanding of what strategy is, what is the most effective interface with management and how it is created and monitored.
