In-Focus is a suite of director development courses designed to fill the skills gaps of directors across all levels of experience.

As the role of a director becomes more demanding, and the needs of individual directors so diverse, it is not possible to cover all subject areas in depth within the Company Directors Course (CDC). It is similarly difficult for the CDC to be seen as sufficient development for a director over time.

Attending AICD education, particularly In-Focus courses, enables Fellows (FAICD) of the AICD to complete the minimum requirements of their membership of 10 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Reviewed annually, the In-Focus portfolio is facilitated by directors with significant experience on boards across a variety of industries and sectors, selected for their ability to ensure participants take away new insights and practical tools.
