Measuring Board Performance through an Evaluation

Maintaining a well functioning and strategic Board is now, more than ever, central to an organisation’s long term success. Literature on ‘Best Practice’ suggests Boards should review and report annually on their performance. Evaluation of Board effectiveness can result in an increase in focus on short and long term goals, review of the current composition and skill-set, facilitate succession planning and identify areas requiring further development.
