The Company Directors Course (CDC) is a comprehensive director program leading to a qualification recognised by the director community both in Australia and overseas.
More than 2000 participants undertake the program each year.

The course is equivalent to 110 hours of study. The program:

provides a comprehensive coverage of the roles and responsibilities of a director

challenges participants to go beyond compliance to improve their effectiveness in the boardroom

is accompanied by essential reference materials and manuals for directors and officers

is developed and annually updated with input from experienced directors

provides opportunities to network with directors from across a range of industries

provides advanced standing towards an MBA through a number of universities across Australia
-
allows candidates who successfully complete both assessment tasks the right to use the GAICD post nominals if they are members of the AICD.
Participants can choose to undertake the CDC in a variety of ways:
- Nationally coordinated residential program
- Five full consecutive days
- One full day each week for 5 weeks
- One session each week for 10 weeks (morning or evening)
- Weekend program
- In-Boardroom
- Correspondence program
