What is Director Nexus?

Director Nexus is a confidential peer-to-peer forum for experienced directors to access support, insights and advice. It is a member-only program which offers you an opportunity to share experiences and ideas, address specific issues and enhance and learn from your fellow directors.

Director Nexus is offered via a series of group forums held over a 12 month period. Nexus groups comprise 10-12 members meeting on a regular basis, typically 10 times per year. The groups provide a peer-to-peer learning experience, offering an exchange of feedback and practical experience to facilitate the growth of your business and career and assist you to be the best director you can be.

Program details

  • Regular organised meetings with peers.
  • Experienced Chairs offering support and feedback.
  • Mentoring from the Chairs.
  • Guests speakers on specialist topics e.g. Director & Officers Insurance
  • Full support from Australian Institute of Company Directors staff including links to both our own and external resources.
  • Two half day or a full day In-Focus course included in the cost. The In Focus course range includes Evaluating the Board, The Chairman, The Board and the CEO and others
  • A dinner for all Director Nexus participants encouraging networking with the larger group.
  • Ad hoc complimentary invitations to Company Director events for Director Nexus participants

Managing confidentiality

All Nexus meetings are held in the strictest confidence.  It is critical for us to provide an environment in which participants can securely and freely share insights and experiences.  Group members will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement prior to commencement of the Director Nexus program.

Cost

Director Nexus 2012 is $1650.00.
