SPN RELEASES NEW FOUNDATION 4 DATABASE

SPN releases new Foundation 4 Database
A new version of the multi-user Foundation 4 database has been released this month. It is a complete administration program with the huge benefit that users are able to modify it as needed. A solid foundation of linked files supports fully modifiable screen layouts and reports.
Foundation 4 Database offers a tailored program for less because:
- All the hard work has been done. A manager can change the printouts to reflect the real world.
- The organisation's own staff can add to the program – for example they can apply graphic standards, change the layout of an invoice and generate reports.
- When new headings are needed SPN can program the linkages – on the basis of a half day's system development.
"This software simplifies complex tasks." says David Thorp, FileMaker design director. "For example de-duplication of mail lists is difficult. Foundation 4 Database does this correctly."
The program comprises four modules. The modules clip together like LEGO. They are:-
- People list
- Firms list (can be used for customers and suppliers)
- Items list
- Job program (can produce estimates and invoices)
More can be added. The exclusive structure of SPN Foundation 4 forms an interactive and lively system. Directors are advised to enquire early for priority service.
