More Information

How the Directors Register works?

Following registration you will be required to use your AICD member ID and password to access the member-only area of the AICD website and access your Directors Register profile. You are then required to create your online profile by answering five profile questions and uploading your resume.
Once your profile is complete, your details will be made available for search requests from companies, members and recruitment firms who are seeking board members. To protect your privacy, all searches are conducted internally by AICD staff. Companies, members and recruitment firms will not be given direct access to the Directors Register database.
As a courtesy, AICD will advise you if your profile has been found to be compatible with the searching criteria and has been provided to an organisation. To preserve the privacy of searching organisations, we are unable to advise you with specific information about their search request. However if this organisation decides to discuss the opportunity with you further, they will contact you directly.

How are Searches conducted on the Directors Register?
To request a search of the Directors Register, simply complete the online form by uploading a position description or providing a summary of the desired background of the ideal candidate, the duties and responsibilities of the position and the skills and capabilities required. Once you have completed the four step process and submitted your search, the AICD will provide you with a job requisition number and endeavour to respond to your request within five working days.
If the Directors Register identifies any members that match your search criteria, you will be provided with a maximum of ten candidates for each search request.

Currently the AICD does not charge a fee to conduct a search.
