Private Health Insurance Bill 2006
Policy & Advocacy: Submission
The Private Health Insurance Bill 2006 proposes changes which try to radically alter traditional concepts and limitations of corporate liability. The provisions of the Bill are materially inconsistent with the recommendations from CAMAC regarding personal liability for corporate fault by seeking to ensure that in every case where there is an offence for an insurer there is also an offence for the directors of the insurer.

A copy of AICD's submission to CAMAC on the issue of Personal Liability for Corporate Fault was included with this submission. The submission can be found in the 2005 submissions.
