Greystone & Muddy Water Wine

We are a family owned vineyard, and we have a very simple purpose in life: To make exceptional wines.

To do this we combine a unique site with the talents of a young but experienced team of exceptional people.

We went to the trouble of planting 19 distinct blocks of vines across 50 hectares, with blocks ranging from 1 hectare in size to 6 hectares, and from 60 metres above sea level to 160. We strive to be exceptional in everything we do, and although every exceptional step may only make a small difference, we believe the sum total of what we do is evident in every glass of Greystone and Muddy Water wine. Reviews by media and results from wine shows now support our purpose.

Greystone is managed under an independently audited sustainable grape growing and winemaking programme, however in the case of Muddy Water, we take things one step further and have full organic certification for the vineyard and the wines.
