Directors' Download Series: Cybersecurity
A matter for all directors and senior executives
Cybersecurity continues to be a critical issue for boards and senior management. According to a recent report by the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), which was funded by Intel, the likely annual cost to the global economy from cybercrime is more than US$400 billion to a possible maximum of US$575 billion. Not to mention the public relations cost of cybersecurity breaches. It is not enough for directors to defer questions of cybersecurity to the IT department, or to a “specialist” director with an IT background. Cybersecurity is a matter for all directors and they must understand the risks and how to mitigate them.
This is the second event in our new Directors' Download Series, an interactive session where you will have the opportunity to ask questions of our industry experts and even share your own experiences with participants.
This session offers our members an unique opportunity to network with peers whilst improving your governance knowledge and practices.
