Our three-day program is the ideal introduction to governance. Designed especially for senior executives and aspiring directors working to understand the duties and responsibilities of a director, specifically relating to the Fiji Companies Act, 2015. What will you learn?

The program will give you a comprehensive introduction to the role and responsibilities of a director in Fiji.

Upon completion of the full program you will:

  • Understand the changes to the Fiji Companies Act and how to stay compliant
  • Understand the duties and responsibilities of a director in Fiji
  • Gain familiarity with governance and board meeting processes
  • Get a director-oriented view of governance, finance, strategy and risk in varying organisational structures
  • Take away easy to read course materials and tools you can use immediately
  • Successfully complete all three sessions and the online assessment and you will also gain the Fiji Directors Course Certificate

What can you expect?

Over the three days you will undertake interactive working sessions and the use of relevant case studies facilitated by experience directors, selected for their knowledge of the board environment as well as their ability to engage and connect with participants.

The program consists of three one day courses, which must be taken consecutively as a suite for a packaged rate.

Day 2 – Finance for Directors

  • Introduction to Financial Statements for Directors
  • Assessing Financial Performance for Directors

Day 3 – Strategy and Risk for Directors

  • Introduction to the strategic role of the International Director
  • Risk: Issues for Directors
